We have a wide variety of Bartholomew wines available in our tasting room. We are constantly rotating which wines we offer by the glass, but you can always purchase the following varieties of Bartholomew wines by the bottle to enjoy in our tasting room or to take home:
2016 Sauvignon Blanc - This wine has citrus notes similar to a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, and gooseberry flavors familiar to those produced in Bordeaux. Made in a stainless steel tank to keep it crisp, like spring-time in a glass. Oh, and it has a screw cap closure perfect for beaches, picnics, and camping. - Last Remaining Bottles
2013 Cabernet Sauvignon - Our first vintage from this award winning vineyard. The "king" of all wine varietals will have you calling for more. Smooth, integrated tannins and 25% new oak balance the dark fruit flavors and earth. A warm vintage with bright fruit flavors and restrained alcohol. An amazing buy. - Last Remaining Bottles
2013 Petit Verdot - Our first release of this amazing varietal. Traditionally used for its very dark color and structure. This north facing vineyard and hot temperatures have come together to ripen this grape perfectly. Great on its own or paired with roasted meats and root vegetables. - Last of 2013 Vintage!
2013 "5th Quarter Blend" - What happens when you blend a wine that doesn't fit "traditional" definitions? If it's not Right Bank or Left Bank, what is it? It belongs in the 5th Quarter. Yes, a play on the Italian term "quinto quarto", however these lots of wine are not the leftover cuts, these are prime. Certain to make your taste buds sing! This Red Mountain Carménère-dominant 5 varietal Bordeaux-style blend is like none other. Plenty of spice and earth balanced with great color, tannin and fruit flavors. Varietals: Carménère, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. - Last Remaining Bottles
2013 Souzão - From one of Washington's most diverse vineyards. This Portuguese varietal fits right at home in our line-up. Big flavors from a lesser known variety that everyone should have the chance to taste. Fortified with brandy made from wine from this same vineyard make this a single vineyard wine burst with dried cherries and blueberries. 6% residual sugar balances well with this higher alcohol wine. Pairs well with dessert or a cigar.
2014 Dry Souzão - Instead of fortifying this with brandy (like our "Port style" Souzao), Bart decided to see what this variety would taste like as a dry red wine. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! We can't wait for you to try it. - A Unique Treat
2014 Cabernet Franc - Coyote Canyon Vineyard, Horse Heaven Hills, 123 cases produced. The grapes from this block continue to mature wonderfully. I can't say enough about how beautiful these grapes are just before picking. And the vineyard is always in immaculate shape. There are no detectable bell pepper; flavors from this hot vintage. If you are a fan of Cab Franc, this is the perfect vintage for you. Drink now, or cellar up to 8 years.
2014 Primitivo - Coyote Canyon Vineyard, Horse Heaven Hills, 122 cases produced. 2014 was the perfect growing season for this grape. The wine has plenty of body and fruitiness. A touch of oak to round things out, and a beautiful ruby color. Unfortunately, it is our last vintage of this very popular wine.
