This holiday season, Aluel Cellars invites guests to sip, sparkle, and celebrate with Frosted & Fizzy, a limited-time pop-up transforming its Ballard tasting room into a glittering winter escape. Opening mid-November at 1528 NW Market Street, Frosted & Fizzy offers an immersive holiday experience that transports guests on a curated tasting journey through the world of sparkling wine.

Every selection has been personally chosen and thoughtfully curated by co-owners Alex Oh and Samuel Hilbert to showcase both the iconic and the unexpected—from timeless French Champagne to elegant crémants, and from classic expressions of Italy’s Prosecco and Spain’s Cava to the emerging brilliance of producers in Germany, Austria, South Africa, and beyond. Guests can also enjoy non-alcoholic sparkling wines, ensuring everyone can join in the celebration.

“Sparkling wine has always inspired our sense of celebration and discovery,” says Alex Oh. “With Frosted & Fizzy, we wanted to create a space where guests can explore the world through the lens of bubbles—where every glass tells a story, and every visit feels like a little celebration.”

Set within a cozy, festive winter wonderland, the experience features elegant holiday décor, warm ambiance, and a curated menu of sparkling flights, by-the-glass pours, and seasonal specials. While sparkling wines take center stage, guests can also toast the season with Aluel Cellars’ award-winning red, white, and rosé wines, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Frosted & Fizzy will run throughout the holiday season, with exclusive early access for Aluel Cellars Wine Club members before the official grand opening.

Currently, Aluel Cellars’ Ballard location is operating on a limited schedule, open Fridays only, as the team prepares for this exciting transformation. The space will close temporarily after its final Paint and Sip event on October 26 to complete the full holiday conversion and bring Frosted & Fizzy to life.
